Campings Atlantique Ambassador / Team spirit, passion for the ocean, and sharing

Born in 1972 in La Rochelle and originally from Île de Ré, Antoine Albeau is a true watersports icon. An extraordinary athlete, he holds one of the most impressive records in French sports: 27 windsurfing world championship titles in various disciplines (slalom, speed, superX). The absolute record holder for sailing speed, he broke the mythical barrier of 53.27 knots (98.65 km/h) in Namibia in 2015. A true benchmark, he is considered one of the greatest windsurfers of all time. Always passionate about innovation, he is now involved in the Zephir Project, which aims to push the limits of speed on water even further thanks to new foil technologies and latest-generation sails. Combining humility, power, and expertise, Antoine Albeau is much more than a champion: he is a living legend of watersports, and a source of inspiration for an entire generation of riders.
