Roger et Henriette - Sea-food

The hunt for shellfish and other tidal water specialities is the passion of Roger and Henriette who know all the best spots along the coastline which they have been harvesting from Easter to the end of October for fifteen years. Roger is a cook by trade, and together with his wife they make a wonderfully open couple, always ready to invite friends to their inspired meals.
 
 
Every August a traditional paella brings together a group of fifty holidaymakers from the campsites of the region. 'We sometimes have up to a hundred guests when we organise special events to go with our meal' explains Roger. 'These warm, welcoming evenings always bring everyone together, we make new friends and renew old aquaintances. A cook by profession Roger knows how to make his meals the centrepeice of these gatherings which bring together families from the four corners of France. Working from a caravan installed on site, Roger and Henriette enjoy the open air and particularly appreciate the unspoilt and wild nature of the region and its bracing sea air.
